SUSD School Closures – Latest Updates

On Friday, March 13th, we announced the temporary suspension of classroom instruction and programs of Sanger Unified from Monday, March 16 – Monday, April 13. This was a difficult decision, and as we move forward we are keeping in mind our critical, core purpose of taking care of our kids and our community.

We know that families have many questions about what the days ahead will hold, and we will provide regular updates throughout this suspension. New information and directives are being sent to us daily from our local health department and the Governor’s office making our plans to provide  educational resources and instruction continually change.

You will receive regular updates on our website, Remind App and through social media.

Enrollment Process

Hallmark Charter School operates under California Independent Study guidelines for attendance purposes, but provides a blend of home-based education with the characteristics of a comprehensive high school. The school strongly encourages a team approach to education: the student, parent, and teacher.

Admission to Hallmark Charter School is open to all students regardless of ethnicity, national origin, gender, and disability or achievement level.  Prior to enrollment, parents and students meet with the administration for an orientation and explanation of the program.  Students submit transcripts, report cards, and test scores that are reviewed by the administration to ensure success and appropriate placement either at Hallmark or another education program.
